Richard D. Tucker – Retired

During his practicing years, Richard Tucker brought diverse, complementary skills and experience to his legal work for Tucker Law Group’s clients. A native of Waterville, Maine, Richard went on to complete his undergraduate work in biology at St. Anselm College in 1979, graduating magna cum laude

Richard attended St. Louis University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. and a Master’s degree in Health Administration. Richard practiced medical malpractice defense litigation in Chicago, Illinois, before moving back to Maine in 1986. In Maine, Richard served as in-house counsel and workers’ compensation administrator for Dexter Shoe Company before returning to private practice in 1993.

Richard was a member of the Defense Research Institute, American Bar Association, Maine State Bar Association, Penobscot County Bar Association, and Tri-State Defense Lawyers Association. Within the Defense Research Institute, Richard served on the Board as the Northeast Regional Director, formally having held the office of Maine’s State Representative. Richard Tucker was a member of the State and Federal Bar in Maine and Illinois.

Kayla A. Estes

Kayla Estes is a native of Milford, Maine. She obtained her B.S. in Legal Studies and a Paralegal Certificate from Husson University in 2017, graduating summa cum laude. She then received her J.D. and Information Privacy Certificate from the University of Maine School of Law, graduating in May 2020. During her educational career, Kayla completed multiple internships focused in health and insurance law, completed the Summer Privacy Institute at the University of Maine School of Law, and served as a Case Note and Comment Editor for the Maine Law Review. She is licensed in both Maine and New Hampshire.

Travis C. Rackliffe

Travis C. Rackliffe was born in Farmington, Maine. He received his B.A. degree in History from St. Joseph’s College, graduating magna cum laude in 1995. He received his J.D. from DePaul University School of Law in 1998. Travis joined Tucker Law Group in 2005, focusing his practice on employment law and insurance and workers’ compensation defense.

Travis C. Rackliffe is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Maine State Bar Association, Penobscot County Bar Association, and Tri-State Defense Lawyers Association. He is admitted to the State and Federal Bar in Maine.

A father of two, Travis volunteers as a Cub Scout den leader and participates as a member of the committee for Pack 76 in Old Town. He is further active in his community every spring, taking to the field to coach little league baseball while also serving as Vice President of Minors on the Board of the Old Town Little League.

Joshua E. Birocco

Joshua E. Birocco was born in Clarion, Pennsylvania, and received his B.A. degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1996. He received his J.D. from the New England School of Law in 1999. He is admitted to the State and Federal Bars in the State of Maine. Joshua joined Tucker Law Group in 2002.

Joshua’s practice is concentrated in civil and commercial litigation and insurance and workers’ compensation defense. Joshua Birocco is a member of the Defense Research Institute, American Bar Association, Maine State Bar Association, Penobscot County Bar Association, and Tri-State Defense Lawyers Association. Outside of the office, Joshua is an active volunteer with youth sports programs in Belfast where his two children attend school. Joshua is currently on the Board of Directors for the Waldo County YMCA.
